OVERVIEW
The Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) is the main research and hospital centre focused on tumours in the Netherlands. It was founded in Amsterdam in 1913 and was a pioneer in the study of cancer from a genetic perspective since the 1980s. Current areas of study include image-guided therapy, immunotherapy, precision oncology, and cancer early detection.
