BIOGRAPHY

Taro Takahara is a Japanese neuroradiologist known for his work in advanced MRI techniques. He and his colleagues developed a method for acquiring WB-DWI images with high-speed parallel imaging, which significantly improved image quality and scan time. His research has been instrumental in making WB-DWI a more feasible and effective tool for clinical use, particularly for detecting and monitoring cancer.
