BIOGRAPHY

Professor Ian Judson is a retired Medical Oncologist, specialising in the development of new anticancer drugs and the care of patients with sarcoma. He is currently Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Cancer Research, London.

He was Head of the Sarcoma Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital for many years, where he gained an international reputation for his contribution to research in this field, holding a number of senior positions within the sarcoma research community.

He was also an early innovator in the integration of palliative care into routine clinical practice. Since 2016, he has been a Trustee at St Christopher's Hospice in London, where he serves as Vice Chair of the Education, Research & End of Life Policy Sub Committee.
